Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
150g (5oz) Self raising flour
50g (2oz) Porridge oats
75g (3oz) Margarine
50g (2oz) Sugar
450g (1lb) Fresh or tinned fruit
EQUIPMENT:
Weighing scales
Mixing bowls
Knife
Chopping board
Tin opener
Casserole type dish
Oven gloves
METHOD:
Prepare fresh fruit, drain if tinned
Place in casserole type dish
Put flour and oats into mixing bowl. Rub in margarine until like breadcrumbs
Stir the sugar into the crumb mixture and press crumble mix onto fruit
Put into pre-heated oven 200ºC/400ºF/Gas mark 6 and bake for 20-30 minutes until the top is lightly brown
