Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
450g Minced Turkey/Beef
1 Carrot, peeled and diced
1 Large Onion, chopped
2 x 400g tins chopped tomatoes
2 Tbsp Tomato Puree
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp mixed herbs
EQUIPMENT:
Large saucepan
Wooden spoon
Tablespoon
Teaspoon
Sharp knife
Chopping board
Tin opener
METHOD:
Brown the mince/turkey in the saucepan for 5 minutes, stirring all the time
Drain the fat from the mince/turkey
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well
Simmer gently for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally
Serve with pasta, spaghetti, jacket potato or boiled rice
